We did not build this because it sounded good.

We built it because we needed it.

The Efficacy Reset™ was born out of lived experience, two applied social scientists and two sisters who know what it feels like to have potential that the world cannot see yet, and to not fully believe in it yourself. We have both been there. And we both found our way through. This brand is how we bring that path to you.

We are Dr. Rosey and Lucey, co-founders of The Efficacy Reset™. We are sisters, collaborators, and practitioners. But we are also so much more than that. Between the two of us we bring decades of real on the ground experience in youth development, community organizing, educational leadership, curriculum design, people development, and leadership training. We have worked in classrooms, in community centers, in boardrooms, and on the ground in neighborhoods that the world too often overlooks. We have designed programs from scratch, facilitated spaces rooted in healing and equity, trained educators, organized communities, and built frameworks that create lasting change.

We did not just study this work. We lived it. We built it. We breathed it. And then we channeled everything we know, every framework, every late night, every breakthrough moment with a young person who finally believed in themselves into The Efficacy Reset™.

Everything we offer is rooted in what we know about how people actually grow from research, from training, from certification, and from our own lives. This is not a brand we built because it sounded good. This is a brand we built because we are exactly the people who were supposed to build it.

The reset is not about becoming someone new. It is about clearing what is in the way of who you already are.

          Hi, I'm Dr. Rosey,

           Co-founder of  THE EFFICACY RESET™

I hold a doctorate in Leadership in Schooling, and my research centers on increasing self-efficacy, confidence, and sense of belonging in adolescents. That research is not just academic work for me, it is the foundation of every framework, tool, and program I build. I know what the science says about how young people come to believe in themselves. And I have spent over a decade proving it in real communities with real people.

At the higher education level I serve as Instructional Faculty at College Unbound in Providence, Rhode Island where I teach Reframing Failure, Social Emotional Learning for All Learners, and Introduction to Organizational Leadership and Change, courses designed to help adults rethink how they learn, lead, and grow. But my work does not stop at the student. I bring this same framework to the educators themselves, supporting and developing teachers, facilitators, and program leaders in building the kind of environments where people actually thrive. Because when educators are grounded in who they are and what they believe, the people they serve feel it.

My work extends across higher education, community organizing, youth development, and organizational leadership, bringing the research directly to the people and communities who need it most. I apply a neuroscience informed lens to everything, from how I design curriculum to how I facilitate rooms to how I built The Efficacy Reset™ framework. Understanding how the brain builds belief, processes failure, and encodes new identity is not a background detail. It is the whole point.

Over a decade of youth leadership development, personal and academic growth programming, community organizing, and curriculum design has brought me here. And I am just getting started.

Hi, I'm Lucey,
Co-founder of  THE EFFICACY RESET™

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Anthropology, and Secondary Education from Salve Regina University — yes, a triple major, a Master's degree in Counseling from Providence College, and a certification in Neuropsychology. That foundation is not just a credential. It is the lens through which I see everything. People, culture, systems, the brain, and the human experience have always been one conversation for me. When you study sociology, counseling, and the neuropsychology of how people think and change, you stop seeing people as problems to be solved and start seeing them as stories waiting to be reclaimed.

I built the Guided Declarations program and the Declaration Companion Journal because I know the reset starts with what you tell yourself. What we repeatedly declare about ourselves, in the right conditions and with the right intention begins to shape what the brain encodes as true. That is not motivation. That is neuroscience. And it is the foundation of everything I create.

My background spans community organizing, facilitation, program design, and direct practice, working with young people and adults alike who are ready to shift something but are not always sure where to start. That is where I come in. I meet people exactly where they are and help them build from there.

My approach is direct, warm, and rooted in what actually works, whether I am holding space for a young person figuring out who they are or working alongside an adult ready to lead at a level they have not stepped into yet.

Real work. Real people. Real results.
